When it comes to hair, I have one sworn enemy. Frizz. If you can give me frizz free hair, your brand will make it in my good books quicker than you can say 'straighteners' and that's exactly what John Frieda have managed to do. Their FRIZZ-EASE range doesn't come with any wild scientific claims, just a clear focus on delivering hair the moisture and shine that it's most likely craving if you straighten your hair as much as I do!
I apply the Intensive Masque everytime I wash my hair, after my usual shampoo and conditioner and leave it to soak for a couple of minutes before washing it out. Even before I come out of the shower, I can already feel a difference in my hair in terms of texture, something which really impressed upon first use. Despite being a reasonably little pot, I've used the product 6 or 7 times and there's still a good amount of product left, again something which I always find promising in a product. I hate products which seem to run out in what seems like days after I've bought them!
I was also recently sent the FRIZZ-EASE serum to try and although it hasn't bowled me over quite like the masque has, I find myself reaching for it more and more often, especially when I have straight hair for nights out. It works just as you'd expect, keeping hair looking sleek and taming any fly-aways. It has that typical 'hairdressers' scent to it as well which I love. Simple things....
Both products are available at Boots and I've also seen that there's a 2 for £8 deal on selected John Frieda haircare at the moment if you're keen to look after your bank balance as well as your hair! I've also come across the brilliant hair tutorials on the John Frieda youtube channel, which I may have attempt at some point if I can muster the courage/patience. If I ever reach hair-bow level, I'll let you know!
